The Pallid Son
All across the dark and blood-covered city of
San Francisco, Captains of Industry are being
murdered… Businessmen and politicians,
dropping like flies from their penthouses into
the gutters below… Private eye Dixon Hill is
approached by a mysterious figure known only
as The Pallid Son to investigate these unsolvable
killings…
But who exactly are his enigmatic employers?
The twelve members of a secret society called
The Titan Club, a powerful cabal of the rich and
influential, currently being hunted across the
city. And they have no shortage of enemies.
Could it be the mob boss, Deacon Ramse?
Or the Robin Hood crime duo of Jimmy and
Cassiopeia Cole? Maybe the eccentric daughter
of the once-great, now ruined Goines family?
Dixon's case will lead him through the past,
present and future of a splintered San Francisco
in a battle for the soul of the city itself. Can he
crack the case and bag his primary suspect – or
will he inadvertently initiate the self-destruct
sequence on the city he calls home?
