Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country: differenze tra le versioni

* In questo film ci sono molte citazioni di Shakespeare.<br />Il Generale [[Chang (chang)|Chang]] è un vero conoscitore di Shakespeare, la qual cosa non è strana se si considera il fatto che il suo interprete, [[Christopher Plummer|Christopher Plummer]], è un attore shakespeariano ed ha anche interpretato <i>Macbeth</i> nel 1988 a Broadway.

** Il sottotitolo <i>The Undiscovered Country</i> viene da <i>Hamlet</i> (III, i, 80):<br />«Who would these fardels bear,<br />to grunt and sweat under a weary life,<br />but that the dread of something after death -<br />the undiscovered country, from whose bourn<br />no traveler returns - puzzles the will,<br />and makes us rather bear those ills we have,<br />than fly to others we know not of?»<br />Questa non è l'unica citazione del famoso monologo; troviamo altri passi citati quando [[Gorkon|Gorkon]] parla dell'<i>undiscovered country</i> e nel discorso di [[Chang (chang)|Chang]] prima che venga colpito dal [[Siluri|siluro]].<br />Il riferimento all'<i>undiscovered country</i> come similitudine per indicare il futuro è abbastanza pregnante. Proprio come Amleto, Kirk si pone la fatidica domanda che apre il famoso monologo. Se la [[:Category:Federazione|Federazione]] si allea con l'Impero, sarà la fine del mondo che Kirk conosce e per il quale ha vissuto e combattuto; inoltre quest'alleanza potrebbe nascondere moltissime insidie.

** Dopo la cena, prima di lasciare l'<i>Enterprise</i>, [[Chang (chang)|Chang]] pronuncia due frasi:<br />«Parting is such sweet sorrow» (<i>Romeo and Juliet</i>, II, ii, 184)<br />«Have we not heard the chimes at midnight?» (<i>Henry IV</i>, III, ii, 212, parafrasato)
