When we found out Worf was back and he needed a new weapon, there was only one man for the job, Dan Curry. He had designed Worf's previous weapons the Bat'leth and the Mek'leth. They are not just random weapons of war. Each design is thought through by Dan as to how the weapon would be used. The open hole on the blade creates a handle that allows for a multitude of striking configurations. When Michael Dorn found out we brought Dan in to design the weapon he was so excited. Their previous collaboration, and the martial arts inspired thought that went into the fighting style was central to the character. So excited to have these two legends collaborating again. | |||
